Hey Rob! Great article here! I've been looking for a trucking expert to write up a guest article (or do an interview) about a broad-view look into the trucking industry for my audience -- specifically the issues we have with 'fake' companies granting CDLs to unqualified drivers. How does this happen, how pervasive is the problem, etc.
If you already have something similar up I'd be happy to crosspost it, but in my experience guest posts drive far more traffic to the "guest site," which is the ultimate goal!
Thank you and Yes sir we could do it and I may already have it. Are we referring to bad companies hiring bad, or unqualified drivers in general? I already produce a lot of these for litigation, lawyers, insurance companies and trucking schools, carrier fleets, etc., so odds are I have whatever it is you need but usually I like to spruce them up depending on age with new stats, real world application, etc. My email is rob@trucksafe.com Just let me know.
I'll be honest I'm really coming at this from ground zero because I'm normally talking about political issues and it's only recently that the worlds have sort of collided, so to speak. My guess is my readers will mostly be in the same boat.
I'm sort of envisioning an article that outlines how it's supposed to be done/how it was done vs. how it's being done now. Stats are good but I don't even really know enough to know what's important. Basically I'd like to answer the question -- why are the roads so much less safe (if they are) than 5/10/20 years ago?
Now that I know I have somebody to work with, I'll put some more thought into specific questions. If you know of resources that sound relevant that can help me gather info, I'd love to take a look.
Thank you very much for your help and I'll be in touch soon!
