This is obscene. Where is the DOT?

If OTR interstate truckers were subject to federal driver’s licensing, rather than state, with an annual fee of a large amount of, say, $10,000, which included federally monitored testing, including language and driving, these guys would need capital and would not be able to operate out of their homes.

What this current system is doing is converting a CDL in to a homicide license. It's got to end.
